Mark Stone AM is a respected business leader and non-executive director with deep, trusted relationships across the business community and state and federal government.

He brings extensive expertise in strategic leadership, organisational growth and governance, and has served as both Chair and Director across a range of major public and private sector organisations.

As Chief Executive of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Mark built a strong reputation as a leading voice for Australian business, regularly sought out for advice, advocacy and commentary on economic and policy matters. Previously, as Chief Executive of Parks Victoria and Tourism Victoria, he strengthened the state’s national and international profile in parks and tourism, while overseeing complex stakeholder environments and major public assets.

Mark has also contributed more than 25 years to emergency management, working closely with Victoria Police and other emergency services agencies, and is a past member of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Day Council.

In 2016, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for “significant service to commerce and industry through leadership roles in the environment and tourism sectors, and to the community.”

His governance experience includes roles as Board Member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Board Member of Tourism Australia, and member of the Delaware North (Australia) Advisory Board.

Mark currently serves as Chair of SCT Logistics, Goulburn Valley Water, the Davidson Client Advisory Board, and Youth Activating Youth.
