Demonstrating its commitment to community support, Budget recently announced a landmark $1 million, five-year partnership with the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation, helping honour Victoria Police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while supporting the Foundation’s important work across Victoria.

BankVic was established in 1974 as the Police Credit Cooperative, to improve the financial wellbeing of Victoria Police members and their families. Since then, the bank’s membership has grown to 120,000 and expanded to the emergency services and health sectors. As a member-owned bank, profits are reinvested to provide better value banking to members and support community initiatives. Since 2010, BankVic has contributed over $3.5 million in donations and sponsorships to non-profit organisations affiliated with the police, emergency and health services. Freemasons Foundation Victoria (FFV) is the charitable arm of Victorian Freemasonry, supporting health and medical research, disaster relief, social justice, indigenous programs and education.
