The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation is proud to sponsor awards that encourage training excellence during the initial phase of training for new Constables and Protective Service Officers at the Victoria Police Academy. Two awards are offered to each training squad and are presented by the Reviewing Officer during their swearing in and marching out parade.
The Angela Taylor Memorial Academic Highest Achiever Award is presented to the recruit from each squad who achieves the highest scores in academic achievement during the initial 33 weeks of training for Constables and 12 weeks of training for Protective Service Officers.
The Tynan-Eyre Memorial Operational Skills Highest Achiever Award is presented to the recruit from each squad who achieves the highest scores in physical skills during the initial 33 weeks of training for Constables and 12 weeks for Protective Service Officers.
