The Clare Bourke Emergency Resuscitation Unit

Werribee Mercy Hospital

Funding from the Blue Ribbon Foundation and its Westgate Branch resulted in a significant upgrade to the existing unit including the purchase of new resuscitation equipment, including one that can be adjusted to treat young children. The new equipment is also portable making it possible to answer sudden emergencies in other parts of the hospital or to accompany patients who may need to be moved into other areas for further tests.

The Unit was dedicated as a Police Memorial by the Chief Commissioner, Graham Ashton in 2017.
