Emergency Diagnostic Service in honour of Senior Constable Barry O’Donoghue & Constable Malroy McDonald

Sunshine Hospital

On Friday 26 August 2022, we joined with our Blue Ribbon Foundation Westgate Branch in honouring the life and service of Senior Constable Barry O’Donoghue and Constable Malroy John McDonald in a Police Memorial Dedication Ceremony at Sunshine. After 2 years of delays due to COVID it was such a privilege to come together to officially dedicate ‘The Emergency Diagnostic Service at Sunshine Hospital’ (Western Health) in honour of Senior Constable Barry O’Donoghue and Constable Malroy John McDonald.
We thank the O’Donoghue and McDonald families who joined us  and we also thank Chief Commissioner Shane Patton and the wider police community for their ongoing support.
It was an emotional and moving Dedication ceremony fitting for both Senior Constable O’Donoghue and Constable McDonald who had given so much to serve and protect our community.
Their community service will continue with the Emergency Diagnostic Service at Sunshine Hospital saving lives in their honour. They will always be remembered.
